Paul Lessard

Acting Executive Director

Paul is originally from Canada, but has called Colorado home for quite some time. He has a varied background in ministry having been pastor, Bible college teacher and administrator, and worship leader. He loves camping ministry and is excited to be giving leadership to Covenant Heights. Paul and his wife, Rebecca, who is a staff accountant in Lakewood, have a son in Arizona and a daughter and son-in-law in Colorado. He enjoys hiking& trekking, fly fishing and playing bass.

Tom & Amanda Hoskins

Director of Facilities &

Executive Assistant/Accountant

The Hoskins Horde hail from Arvada, CO. Tom and Amanda are excited to have returned to The Heights with their family. They have four children: Alex, Callum, Sarah, and Isaiah. Tom comes with lots of experience from the oil industry, carpentry, construction, and working on machines at Coors Brewing. When asked how he fixes things, his favorite response is “I use my Jedi mind powers”. Amanda has been a stay-at-home mom for the last 10+ years and is now excited to be helping Covenant Heights make a difference in the lives of the thousands of people that come every year.

Jessica Drogowski

Director of Guest Services & Marketing

Jessica works with our guest groups, helping them plan retreats and organize details. She also coordinates our marketing endeavors, seeking to share what God is doing here and all that camp offers. Jessica is passionate about cultivating intentional relationships with both her Lord Jesus and other people. A Michigan native, she has served at several camps; she relishes being a part of the impact God has in the lives and hearts of children and adults.

Greg Jones

Director of Food Services

Greg heads up all aspects of providing the food we get to enjoy here at camp. The Jones family moved to the Heights from Atwood, Kansas in April 2012. For years they have been deeply invested in camp as a family, taking nearly all their vacation time to come up and volunteer. All of their children have come to camp as campers and many have worked on seasonal staff. It has been a dream of theirs to work in full-time ministry, so Greg and his wife, Gwen, along with their two youngest, Aliah and Obadiah, are excited to be a part of The Heights community.

Derek Laffoon

Store Manager & Camp Housekeeper

Derek has previously been on camp staff in various roles and is excited to be here as the year-round store manager and housekeeper. Camp has made Derek a happier person since his first time on staff in summer of 2013 and since that summer he has been chasing experiences which have developed his love for young people (and the young at heart). He is passionate about helping other staff and guests pursue God-given dreams and encouraging them to pursue discipleship relationships in their lives. With his extensive experience cleaning his room and scrubbing toilets, and the example set by the movie Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, he is excited to be fulfilling his current roles at camp.
