Kitchen Staff
Position Description

Start Date: May 27th 2008
End Date: August 2nd 2008

Responsibilities

  • Prepare dining hall area for meals; includes setting up the salad bar
  • Restock items when necessary before and during meals
  • Keep dining hall clean (tables, windows, floor, etc) and take out trash
  • Wash dishes after meal times
  • Be friendly, patient, polite and courteous with campers, staff and guests
  • Maintain daily prayer and quiet times for personal spiritual growth
  • Attend all staff meetings, Bible studies and prayer times
  • Act responsible and mature at all times

Accountability

  • Be accountable to the Kitchen Director and Executive Director

Qualifications

  • Be a person who has personally accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior and shows evidence of Christian growth and maturity
  • Desire to share your faith with others and seek opportunities to do so
  • Be willing to work hard and serve God through serving people
  • Be able to show Jesus Christ through your attitude, actions, and reactions
  • Have the ability to work well with others and be a positive role model
  • Have general knowledge of good health and hygiene principles
  • Be at least 16 years of age
